Done with the tiles

I’m done with all the tiles. I’m happy it’s over since cutting tile to the precision needed wasn’t fun in the end.

Now I need to put the baseboard back. This shouldn’t be a big problem.

Almost done

I’m done with the tiles that don’t need to be cut in this corner. This was the easy work.

Tiling, tiling, tiling, …

I’m almost done with half of the area.

I had to cut my first tiles at the other end of the floor. Cutting is surprisingly easy: all you need to do is use a knife to make a small cut at the surface of the tile. When you “bend” the tile it will break at that edge.

Tiling away …

Laying these tiles was easy since all you have to do is make sure they align (which is easy to do).
You need to make sure that the orientation of the rose in the center of the tiles is always the same.
